Partnership Framework
The core and most valuable aspect of slöyd education is the original pedagogy. Slöyd is not simply “woodworking for kids”. The success of our partnership framework and support of other individuals, organizations, and schools lies in the nature of these entities wanting to provide authentic, hands-on education that positively shapes the character of our collective youth.
Our partners invest in Slöyd Experience so that we can advance our mission, together. Partner organizations receive hands-on instructor training, supplemental teaching resources, classroom tool/set-up guidance, license to use a refined model curriculum with their students, access to research and best practices in this unique pedagogy from University level educators in the US and Finland, and connection to a network of educators who are growing quality slöyd education programs.
